Shortened sentences for federal prisoners spark reaction

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man whose brother died while behind bars gives his take on the shortening of sentences for 214 federal prisoners in what the White House said was the largest number of commuted sentences on a single day in more than 100 years. Two men from Fort Myers are among those who’ll be getting out earlier.
