Lee County Hardee’s armed robbers still on the loose

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Two men who robbed the Hardee’s fast food restaurant, 4900 Palm Beach Boulevard, at gunpoint last month are still on the loose, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.

Around 9:30 p.m. on July 12, the suspects entered the restaurant and pointed a silver handgun at two employees.

While instructing one of the employees to get on the ground, the suspects ran behind the counter and took an employee’s purse.

The men fled from the business heading eastbound on Palm Beach Boulevard.

One suspect is described as a black male with a thin build,  approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with shoulder-length dreadlocks, and had light colored work gloves on. Authorities say the second suspect is a skinny Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a green ski mask and light colored gloves.
