FORT MYERS, Fla. — Increasing clouds as lunchtime approaches will lead to scattered storms in the afternoon and evening across Southwest Florida.

The morning will be warm and humid but mostly free of rain, so make those outdoor plans for the a.m. hours. Rain chances will go up during the afternoon when skies will feature a mix of sun and clouds. The best chance for running into a storm will come between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

It’ll be another hot one, with highs near 92. Overnight lows will dip to near 76.
