FORT MYERS, Fla. – City council members on Monday unanimously approved a 225-room Marriott hotel that would connect to the Harborside Events Center, along with a boat ramp, amphitheater and a 4 or 5 story garage that will hold up to 200 vehicles. The plan will bring up to 400 construction jobs and 200 permanent jobs.
