ELLSWORTH, Maine (CNN) — A driver suffered an medical emergency that caused him to lose control of his pickup truck as it accelerated and crashed into a river. Surveillance video showed the truck, driven by Charles H. Stratton, 61, careening off a road after hitting what police told The Ellsworth American was a speed of no less than 82 mph. Stratton was taken to the hospital but suffered only minor injuries. It’s unclear what sort of medical episode precipitated the crash.
