
GATEWAY, Fla. — One person is in custody and another two are at large after an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on Gateway Boulevard and Griffin Drive at about 2 a.m. Friday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspects abandoned a car along Griffin Drive, according to the sheriff’s office. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the store, but no one was hurt.
The store was cordoned off with police tape as authorities conducted an investigation this morning. No further information is immediately available.
