Mason Williams, 1, and his sister, Rylan, 3, were illegally taken from their home by their mother Stacey Williams, 38, who is homeless, authorities said. Stacey broke into the home of the siblings’ legal guardian after a dispute in which she insisted on seeing the children, authorities said. When the legal guardian of the children refused, she broke in then damaged the phone that the guardian tried to use to call authorities, deputies said.

An AMBER Alert was issued Sunday evening. Authorities said the children may be with their mother and father, 29-year-old Ryan Williams, and driving in a white 2000 Ford Expedition with Florida tag number DNSC62. The couple may be headed to West Virginia or Ohio with the children, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Stacey is facing charges for burglary with battery and interference with child custody with no bond, deputies said. Both Stacey and Ryan Williams are believed to be drug users who have a violent relationship, authorities said.

If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of these children, please contact FDLE or the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office at 352-726-4488 or 911.
