LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County deputies are investigating a Sunday morning shooting at The Coral Plaza in Lehigh Acres. There was a second scene at Lehigh Regional Medical Center, which deputies later confirmed was connected. Investigators did not provide any immediate details on the shooting or possible victims. Kenneth Vega, who works inside the plaza, was shocked when he came to work and saw crime scene tape. “It is a little shocking because I do work right next door,” Vega said. “Luckily we got out at 10, cause I think it was a late night shooting or something like that, so at the end of the day I’m happy I’m just kinda walking in here right now and not last night.”
