NAPLES, Fla, — The good Samaritan who saved Ronald Ayala-Castro’s life on Tuesday after being struck by lightning has been found.
Rolin Dorsainvil, 22, was driving a truck for Allied Portables. He and a contractor were working on the same construction site at Naples Reserve when they saw Castro get hit. They ran into the storm and Dorsainvil started to give him CPR while receiving directions from the 911 operator.
Castro had no pulse when emergency crews arrived and had to be shocked three times in the ambulance.
“I feel great and it’s an awesome thing to know I helped save someone’s life,” Dorsainvil said.
Castro has been hospitalized and is recovering.
