LCSO seeks help finding suspected repeat robber

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – A man caught on surveillance video during an alleged 7-Eleven robbery is believed to have committed several other robberies in Lee County and now deputies are asking for help finding him.

The suspect is accused of robbing the 7-Eleven at 17451 San Carlos Blvd. on Sunday before 9:30 p.m., Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers Coordinator Trish Routte said. He is seen in surveillance video wearing a blue Under Armour sweater and deputies said he held a paper bag as if he had a gun inside it.

The man demanded cash then ran away, deputies said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
