Lee County high school moves toward future with charging stations

Published:

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral High School is the first school in the county to replace lockers with charging stations.

Due to the increase in technology, students are using laptops and cell phones instead of textbooks, making lockers obsolete.

However, students are always supervised in the halls so that they are not using their phones inappropriately.

The charging stations are expected to be completed at the end of the month.
