MIAMI (AP) —Tropical Storm Nicole has formed in the Atlantic. The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the storm currently poses no threat to land. Nicole was located about 510 miles northeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico as of shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday. It had maximum sustained winds near 50 mph with higher gusts and was moving northwest at 9 mph. Little change in strength is expected for the next day or so, followed by gradual weakening. The forecast track shows it moving northwest and then meandering northeast.
