Suspect in Bonita Springs armed robbery still at large

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Authorities are seeking input from the public to help them track down a suspect in an Oct. 12 armed robbery.

Two black males and one black female walked into a Bonita Springs car dealership and robbed the owners while pointing a shotgun at them, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said. The woman and one of the men were apprehended shortly thereafter in Fort Myers, but the other man remains at large.

The suspect being sought was dropped off at Miromar Outlets immediately after the robbery at Power Motors Auto Brokers, Inc. on 10924 K Nine Drive. Clothes that the unknown man was said to have worn during the robbery were found in the bathroom of one of the outlets, Crime Stoppers said.

Surveillance from the Nike store shows the suspect buy new clothes and walk toward the bathroom where he left his original clothing. A short time later, video shows him walking away from the bathroom wearing his new clothes.
