The 52-pound adult green sea turtle was pale and suffering from a breathing issue and depression when it was taken to the clinic. It has a common disease that causes tumors to appear on the body of turtles, and it’s also believed to be suffering from red tide exposure. But as of Sunday, the turtle is in great condition and is receiving the food and water it needs, according to the clinic. It should be released soon, the clinic said.
