LELY, Fla. — A suspect is on the run after deputies pulled him over for a routine traffic stop near Rattlesnake Hammock Road on Thursday night, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect then jumped out of the passenger side of his white Mercedes van and ran across traffic into the woods. K-9s and deputies are combing the woods for the suspect. It is unclear why he ran from police. No further information was immediately available.
