NAPLES, Fla. – A Naples man was shot and killed Friday afternoon by a round of bullets on the 500 block of 14th Street on Friday, Naples police said.
His death is marked by an uptick in the city’s gun violence after no activity for five years.
Friday’s shooting is the third in 2016. The first was on April 12, when a man was shot in downtown Naples after an argument, followed by another on Aug. 15 when a teen accidentally shot and killed himself at Coastland Center Mall.
