The cause of death is unclear for Hoolio, who was brought to the clinic with a broken wing in June. The bird was used as part of the clinic’s educational outreach and became a favorite among clinic guests, who helped come up with its distinctive name. The broken wing, which was inoperable, likely happened during a collision with a vehicle, according to the clinic.
