EAST NAPLES, Fla. — A motorcyclist was left critically injured after hitting a car Wednesday on Manatee Road, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said an older couple was turning into the Enchanted Shores neighborhood when the motorcycle plowed into their passenger side door. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike, which ended up across the road. Manatee Road is currently shut down in both directions. The motorcyclist is expected to survive and the couple who was hit are both unharmed. No further information was immediately available.
