LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed an auto store at gunpoint Thursday night, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.
Shortly after 9 p.m., a man wearing a purple mask and gloves entered the Advanced Discount Auto Parts store at 403 Sunshine Blvd. N.
He then pulled out a gun and demanded all the money from the safe and their cellphones, which they complied.
The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash and appeared to flee to a vehicle that was waiting for him in the parking lot, according to the Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
