Cape Coral parish to pack meals for children in need

CAPE CORAL, Fla. Southwest Florida residents can fight to end childhood hunger by packaging food for Feed My Starving Children event.

Those interested can participate from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Volunteers can also help from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Katharine Drexel on 1922 SW 20th Ave.

This endeavor will benefit Feed My Starving Children, an organization that provides meals worldwide.

In addition, the church is holding a canned food drive and accepts monetary donations.
