Mostly clear skies, mild for Tuesday night

FORT MYERS, Fla. Southwest Florida experienced another afternoon of record-breaking heat with a high of 90 degrees Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to cool down to 70 degrees Tuesday night under partly cloudy skies, WINK meteorologist Mary Mays said. But more potentially record-setting heat is on the way for Wednesday.
