A crash has shut down the westbound lanes of Pine Island Road near Northeast Seventh Avenue, while a car fire is causing southbound delays on Del Prado Boulevard. Only one southbound lane is open on Del Prado just north of South 12th Terrace, Cape Coral police said. Police working the Pine Island crash are rerouting traffic to various side roads. No one was injured in the Del Prado fire, but it’s unclear if anyone was hurt on Pine Island Road. WINK News viewer Raquel Mattia captured video of the car fire:
