DELAND, Fla. The FGCU baseball team fell to Stetson University Friday night 2-1, making it the team’s fifth straight loss.
The Eagles tied the game 1-1 in top of the eighth inning on an RBI single from junior Nick Rivera with two outs.
But Stetson broke the tie in the bottom of the 10th with an an RBI from Jorge Arenas, sealing the victory.
The Eagles and Hatters will face off again Saturday for game two at Melching Field at 2 p.m.
