Firefighters contained an 83-acre brush fire Saturday that ignited between Cattle Dock Point Road and South McCall Road, Charlotte County fire officials said. The blaze started Friday around 3:15 p.m. Three homes were evacuated, but no damage has been reported at this time, according to fire officials. No injuries were reported. No further information is immediately available.
