Drier air pushes into SWFL

FORT MYERS, Fla. Dry air behind a front that has passed through Southwest Florida will bring clearing skies and lower humidity, meteorologist Scott Zedeker said.

Winds that have some firefighters worried will continue to come out of the west and northwest at 10-15 mph this evening under partly cloudy skies. The temperature will fall to a low of 66.

Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies and a high of 83. Winds won’t be as strong as they were Monday, when they gusted in excess of 20 mph.
