MGN PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Southbound Interstate 75 is back open after a crash near mile marker 163, the Charlotte County Traffic Incident Management department said. The road was briefly closed about a mile south of the exit for U.S. 17. The southbound on-ramp from U.S. 17 to the interstate has also reopened. The wreck took place at about 3:30 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said.
