Mostly clear skies, breezy at times for Saturday evening

FORT MYERS, Fla. Temperatures will be in the 70s with mostly clear skies and there will be breezy conditions for Saturday evening, WINK meteorologist Zach Maloch said.

“Tonight’s sunset is at 8:03 p.m. and it’s going to be very nice to spend some time at the beach to watch the sun go down,” Maloch said.

Inland Collier, Hendry and Glades County were issued a red flag warning this afternoon. It will stay in effect until 8 p.m., Maloch said.

“A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly,” Maloch said. “A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.”

Sunday will be mostly sunny and warm with temperatures in the low to mid 80s, Maloch said.
