Clear skies, breezy at times Sunday night

FORT MYERS, Fla. Skies will be clear amid occasional breezes Sunday evening, meteorologist Zach Maloch said.

Temperatures will fall to an overnight low of 63 before rebounding to Monday’s high of 89, Maloch said. The week ahead will be sunny and warm.

“We are going to have plenty of sunshine across Southwest Florida basically all week long,” Maloch said.

A slow-moving low-pressure system currently in Southern California isn’t expected to begin affecting Southwest Florida until Saturday, when isolated afternoon and evening rain is in the forecast, Maloch said.
