Taste of the Beach brings flavors, eats to Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. Southwest Florida residents can enjoy a day at the beach while sampling food from area restaurants Sunday.

Eateries will show signature dishes for attendees to try during the Taste of the Beach, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or whenever food runs out along Old San Carlos Boulevard.

The restaurants with the best food will win awards.

Admission costs $5 for adults and children 12 years and older. Food tickets cost $1 each and a plate of food costs $5.
