Mostly clear, warm for Sunday night

FORT MYERS, Fla. A mostly clear and warm Sunday night is ahead for Southwest Florida, but isolated rain is in the forecast for the workweek, WINK meteorologist Zach Maloch said.

“High pressure is now in control across the Southeast United States,” Maloch said. “That’s going to allow that north and northwesterly breeze to stay with us over the next few days, but with that comes a few showers as well.”

Those showers will fall primarily in the afternoon and evening hours Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sunday’s temperature will drop to an overnight low of 69 before rebounding to Monday’s high of 90.
