Hurricane Jose weakens to Category 2 storm

FORT MYERS, Fla. Hurricane Jose weakened to a Category 2 storm Monday morning, the National Hurricane Center said.

Hurricane Jose has maximum sustained winds of 105 degrees, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm is moving north-northwest at 10 mph.

The system is about 255 miles northeast of Grand Turk Island, the National Hurricane Center said.

No coastal watches or warnings are in effect, according to the National Hurricane Center.
