Camps, daycare services offered following Irma

FORT MYERS, FLA. Camps and daycare centers opened to accommodate kids out of school due to damage from Hurricane Irma.

IMAG History and Science Center 

A camp will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the IMAG History and Science Center at 2000 Cranford Ave. in Fort Myers.

The camp is for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. It costs $25 per child, with an optional $5 lunch.

Alico Family Golf

Camps will run from Monday through Friday at Alico Family Golf at 16300 Lee Road in south Fort Myers.

A half-day session takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It costs $25 per day, or $100 per week, according to a press release.

A full-day session takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It costs $35 per day or $150 per week.

The Sport CLUB of Naples 

The Sport CLUB of Naples will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. this week at the location at 3275 Pine Ridge Road.

Kids ages 5 to 13 years old will be admitted. It costs $25 per day, but the registration fee is waived.

Lee County Parks and Recreation: Rec Camp

Lee County Parks and Recreation has limited spots available at the Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center at 16760 Bass Road in south Fort Myers.

The camp runs from Monday to Friday and is for kids ages 6 to 13 years old. The camp is free.

The Matlacha Community Park site, located at 4577 Pine Island Road, is now full.
