FORT MYERS, Fla. A mountain of dilapidated pool cages is growing at a recycling center.

The owner of Garden Street Iron & Metal estimates that 3 million pounds of metal from pool cages broken in Hurricane Irma is sitting at the site on 3350 Old Metro Parkway.

The pile can be seen from behind a billboard in front of the site.
