Identity of 27-year old shooting victim in Fort Myers revealed

Homicide investigation on Cuba St. in Fort Myers.

Fort Myers police are investigating a homicide on Cuba Street near Lincoln Boulevard early Tuesday morning.

Neighbors say they heard gunshots around the time of the incident.

The identity of the shooting victim has been revealed as Aaron Johnson, 27, of Cape Coral, Fla.

The Fort Myers Police Department is looking for information from anyone who can help.

Citizens can also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
