Homeless students in Lee County are getting a little help during this holiday season.

Cape Coral Police Department is teaming up with 3H Exchange: High Schools Helping the Homeless program for the fifth consecutive year to bring food and gifts to homeless students and their families Friday, Nov. 23 through Friday, Dec. 14.

To donate, visit the CCPD lobby or Chester Street Resource Center in Cape Coral, where donation bins will be available.

3H Exchange is asking for the following:

  • canned food
  • non-perishable food
  • unwrapped children’s toys

3H Exchange is a program committed to giving goods to homeless students and their families in need throughout the Lee County school district.

All donations will be given to the to school district and then distributed anonymously to families before the holiday break.
