Major League Baseball spring training is just three days away! Clubs all across the MLB had their first full squad workout Monday.

Over at JetBlue Park, the Boston Red Sox are trying to do something that has not been done since the 2000 Yankees: repeat as World Series champs.

“It’s not something that’s easy,” said Mitch Moreland, Red Sox first baseman. “I don’t know when the last one was but it’s been a while. We’re starting in a good spot. We’ve just got to keep our head down and keep moving forward.”

At Hammond Stadium, the Minnesota Twins would also like to move forward from last year, but for different reasons. The Twins are coming off a mere 78 win season where the club failed to secure a playoff bid.

“I’ve got a chip on my shoulder, got a chip in here with these guys,” said Byron Buxton, Twins center fielder. “We’ve all got a chip on our shoulder. So we’ve just got to go out there, do what we do, play our game and everything else will take care of itself.”

The Red Sox and the Twins will face each other Sunday at JetBlue Park starting at 1:05 p.m.
