Collier County Sheriff’s Office say they have arrested a man after he left his young daughter home alone, unsupervised with his roommates for more than 13 hours, then showed up home drunk, where police were waiting for him.

CCSO report says Javier Baltazar, 26, left in the middle of the night leaving his daughter, who was crying, alone with five other male roommates.

The report says when the father never came home, the roommates called 911 because they had to work the next morning and didn’t want to leave her home alone.

As police and DCF  were on the scene, the father staggered down the sidewalk with one beer in hand and another in his back pocket.

He was questioned by police, but appeared to inebriated to answer questions from law enforcement.

The daughter was taken into child care custody, and Baltazer was arrested by police for Child Neglect charges.
