Rapids City Council in Wisconsin is proposing fines for parents if their child is caught bullying in school.

School district officials say the anti-bully ordinance is another tool to hold students accountable, while getting parents more involved.

If approved, the police department would give tickets around $50. The ordinance would be put into place next year.
