Deputies said a man was touching himself inside an auto parts store in front of customers and employees. Things got scary when he grabbed one of those employees.

“He could have had a weapon,” Jacquie Matthews-Williams said. “She could have gotten hurt.”

The suspect, Matthew McFalls, faces charges for battery, indecent exposure and smuggling contraband.

A creepy confrontation Matthews-Williams said could have turned even more dangerous. After a man was found at an O’Reilly Auto Parts fondling himself.

”There should be a little island somewhere where they put perverted people,” Matthews-Williams said. “They should just drop them there, surrounded by sharks and that’s the end of them.”

Police said McFalls ended up attacking an employee by grabbing her. The arrest report said McFalls tried to grab, touch and kiss her. But, the victim was able to fight him off.

The police report also said he told the victim he was interested in purchasing something and needed to use the restroom. However, once he was inside, he exposed himself again. Then, at the jail, a pipe was found on his person.

Matthew-Williams said the close call serves as a reminder.

”I’m always aware of my surroundings,” Matthew-Williams said. “I’m always looking at people. If they’re dressed strangely or doing things strangely, I’m always aware. You’re not going to catch me sleeping. no.”
