Photo via San Carlos Fire Department San Carlos Park Fire Rescue responded to a attic fire inside a San Carlos Park home on Thursday morning. Fire crews responded to the 2 story home and found heavy smoke in the first and second floors and stairwell, before discovering the fire in the attic. The fire has since been put out, but the family’s dog has not been located. The family was not home and no injuries were reported. An arson task force was assigned, but they do not believe the fire was caused by arson. Neighbors say a dog lived in the home, but fire investigators have not been able to locate any animals at this time. WINK News will have updates on the investigation as it develops.
