Railroad repairs are shutting down a busy roadway in Fort Myers.
Northbound traffic on Evans Ave has been shut down. It comes to a halt between Edison Ave and MLK Jr. Blvd. due to a railroad traffic arm stuck in the down position.
Fort Myers Police Dept. is directing traffic until the repairs are complete. The work is projected to be done around 7:15 p.m.
FMPD said motorists should seek a different route.
