DeSantis says younger adults part of spike, urges everyone follow guidelines

Gov. Ron DeSantis held a coronavirus briefing at Gulf Coast Medical Center in south Fort Myers Friday afternoon, where he discussed new COVID-19 numbers and plans.

To lower that rate of positive cases, DeSantis says everyone must follow the guidelines. The governor said the state isn’t going to do anything drastic, but he insists we fight the urge to do too much too soon.

  • Keep social distancing
  • Limit large groups
  • Wash your hands thoroughly
  • Wear a mask
