Sheriff's office investigates death of 11-year-old girl in LaBelle

Hendry County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating the death of an 11-year-old girl in LaBelle Tuesday.

According to HCSO, an 11-year-old girl was found dead at her home Tuesday morning.

Investigators continued to gather information after obtaining a search warrant at the girl’s home.

HCSO is waiting for results from toxicology reports and findings from the medical examiner to confirm the cause of death.
