Trader Joe’s has plans to open a new location in south Fort Myers, the first in Lee County.

Lee County’s permitting website shows Trader Joe’s has an application on file to install a grocery store at 4983 S Cleveland Avenue, the former location of a Toys “R” Us. This is within the Page Field Commons shopping center.

Emerald Coast Permitting, Inc., based in Santa Rosa Beach, is the primary applicant for the Trader Joe’s location in Lee County.
