
A Cape Coral man was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck in Punta Gorda on Saturday.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the 67-year-old driver ran a stop sign and drove into the path of the semi-truck at Taylor Road and Jones Loop Road.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, according to troopers.
The crash occurred at about 2:20 p.m.
