People from all over Naples who knew Tony Christensen, and some who didn’t, came to say their goodbyes. “We kind of take for granted [that] they run into the places that we run out of,” said Stacie Nikkel of Naples. “He was a wonderful man, very friendly, always smiling, very positive attitude,” said Lynne Parker. “If Tony was on shift, you always knew it was going to be a good day,” according to those who had the pleasure of working with him. “His compassion for victims was always matched by his concern for the fellow firefighters…” Submit Copyright ©2024 Fort Myers Broadcasting.
