As we head into the latter half of the workweek, areas across SW Florida will likely see continued rainfall, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours.

Below is the forecast throughout Thursday across our area. We wake up to mainly dry conditions under a partly – mostly cloudy sky. Lows will drop into the mid 70’s.

By noon, scattered storms will slowly begin to move into our interior areas, favoring regions around Lake Okeechobee and eastern Collier and Hendry Counties.

Storms will continue to move towards the coast through the afternoon. Expect pockets of moderate to heavy rain, with a partly to mostly cloudy sky.

By 5 p.m., forecast models are hinting at storms hugging the coastline, and will continue to move offshore after sunset.

By 8 p.m., dry conditions should return to the area, with decreasing cloud cover into the overnight hours.
