A Cape Coral man is behind bars after deputies found drugs in a home where someone died from an overdose.

Clayton Mack Rhodes, 42, was arrested Friday at a home on South Street on Fort Myers Beach after the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was called there to investigate a death.

A search of the home found 120 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of fentanyl, 8.4 grams of crack cocaine and 2.6 grams of marijuana.

Their investigation led detectives to arrest Rhodes and charge him with possession of a firearm by a convicted Florida felon, trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of marijuana under 20 grams.

He remains in the Lee County Jail on $91,500 bond.
