Sea fog, warm afternoon expected ahead of tonight’s cold front

Published: Updated:

This morning’s pesky fog has wrapped up across Southwest Florida, but there’s an unusual spot we have to monitor this afternoon for redevelopment.

Patchy sea fog will be possible across the Gulf waters due to abundant moisture and the warm air moving over a much cooler ocean.

Otherwise, your Wednesday afternoon will feature a partly cloudy sky and lots of warmth! This is all ahead of a cold front which brings a few showers tonight.

The front will drop our temperatures at least 10° Thursday afternoon. Even more significant? Friday morning’s lows will dip into the upper 40s and lower 50s!
