Jeffrey Reidy (Credit: Naples Police Department) Family, friends, and fellow public servants gathered Saturday morning to remember the life and legacy of Naples Police Sgt. Jeff Reidy. The funeral took place at Cambier Park in Naples. You can watch it below or by clicking here. Reidy, 41, was off duty when he was killed in a crash on Feb. 18 in Estero. He leaves behind a wife, Jennifer, who is a nurse at NCH, and four children. Jeff and Jennifer were in the process of adopting a fifth child when Jeff was killed. “I’m overwhelmed with grief knowing I’ll never see him again,” Jennifer said at Saturday’s service. “My parents were the best people in the whole world. They were my role models. They still are,” daughter Rylin said. He was known as hardworking, thoughtful, and kind. David Hill was Reidy’s neighbor. Submit Copyright ©2024 Fort Myers Broadcasting.
